Itinerary
Like the Great Lakes area, the northeast is dense with MLB teams so we figured it would be an easy trip and the Vet was living on borrowed time so we'd get to check it off the list while we still had a chance. We were able to again schedule 4 different games in 4 days, the Phillies, Mets, Blue Jays, and Red Sox. Since Mike lives in CT, it made for a convenient hub and we could avoid the cost of hotels as much as possible. Our crew would grow again this year and it was time to step it up and rent a minivan.
Day 1: West coast guys arrive at Mike's house.
Day 2: Pick up Bill in Westchester, pick up Horshack in Jersey, meet Justin at the Vet in Philly for an afternoon game. Head to NYC for some barhopping after the game, crash at Mike's house.
Day 3: Meet up with Andre, spend the day in NYC at the Baseball As America exhibit at the Museum of Natural history. Take the subway out to Shea for a night game and meet Andre's brother, Ben, Melissa and her Dad. Crash at Mike's place.
Day 4: Drive up to Montreal for the Expos night game, spend the night in Montreal.
Day 5: Drive down to Boston, pick up Kim, go to Fenway for the ESPN Sunday Night game against the Yanks. Stay at a hotel in Boston.
Day 6: Head home
