The Road Trip
Lumpy's Notes: Safe house, getting the natives restless
After a raucous post-Wrigley night at Chuck's bunkhouse we rested up for the short trip up to Milwaukee. Some of us knew this guy, "Hamburglar Brad" from the fraternity who was in grad school at Wisconsin-Madison. We invited him to meet up with us for the game and not only was he up for that, he offered to cater a tailgate! Brad shows up with everything, grills, coal, lighter fluid and loads of brats. Hamburglar Brad is a vegetarian. That's right, nicknamed "Hamburglar", and brings 30 pounds of sausage, neither of which are related.
There were loads of fans tailgating and playing cornhole which we would find to be very popular in our alumni circle. There was another group that set up a beer bottle bowling alley which we mimicked and, of course, led to broken glass. Not the wisest decision.
