Fri 7/11/08- Lake Elsinore Storm vs. Lancaster Jet Hawks
The opponents, Lancaster Jet Hawks, had a player named Chih- which is actually pronounced "cheech n' chong"
Beer goat was DH# 41. He struck out in the 7th to earn us all 1/2 off coors light.
Top of the 8th and the opposing ss ropes a line fly to rf. The rf make a leaping stab for the ball at the wall and he landed on the door in the rf wall busting it off its hinges. Later in the bottom half of the inning we hear hammering coming from behind the rf wall as the bunny mascot nailed th door back onto the wall.
Reliever #21 joshua paplebon came in for the sox affiliate jet hawks in the 8th. He's a wicked submariner!
